If you're looking for a realtor in Lakeway, I'd love to be the one you call. I'm Lori Wakefield with Keller Williams Lake Travis, and our office is right on Lohmans Crossing in Lakeway. I've lived in the Lake Travis area since 1990, I've been licensed since 2004, and I've closed 112 sales in Lakeway, including Rough Hollow.
About 80% of my business comes from repeat clients and their referrals. Many of my Lakeway clients have bought and sold with me more than once, and that's the measure I care about most.

Lakeway isn't one market. A 1970s house on the Live Oak course, a newer house in Rough Hollow, a gated lot in Flintrock Falls and a lakefront house on Challenger can sit a few minutes apart and have almost nothing in common when it comes to price, dues and taxes.
Rough Hollow carries a utility district tax and about $394 a month in combined association and amenity dues for most sections. The Hills is its own city with its own tax rate and a required club membership. Much of original Lakeway has no POA at all. These details change what a house is really worth and what it really costs to own, and they're the kind of thing you learn by closing sale after sale on these streets. My Lakeway real estate guide covers each neighborhood in detail.
Pricing is where a sale is won or lost. Before real estate I spent 15 years as a bank COO overseeing operations, compliance and lending, and I still underwrite every list price the way a lender would: what's sold on your street, what's under contract, what's expired and why. You'll get the honest number, not the flattering one.
Once you're on the market, I send targeted questions to every buyer's agent after every showing and pass the unfiltered answers straight to you, so we can adjust while it still matters. See how I sell a house.
Buyers often come to Lakeway for the lake, the golf or Lake Travis ISD and then have to sort out a dozen neighborhoods that all look good online. I'll help you narrow it down by what matters to you, then check what the listing won't tell you: the real tax bill and utility district, HOA dues and any required club membership, school zoning for that specific address, and, on the water, what you're actually getting with the dock and shoreline.
"You are very knowledgeable about real estate in the Lake Travis area and a pleasure to work with."
